The teddies have escaped!

After my teddy bears birthday party all the teddies went to stay in the spare bedroom, but I have secretly been helping them escape 1 by 1 so there are no longer any left.

Then they disappeared.....

but this morning I found where my Dad had hidden them and I helped them escape again - yay!

Dancing to the Wiggles

I'm a big wiggles fan - I love Dorothy the Dinosaur and Wags the Dog.

My First Haircut

My mum and granny attacked me last week and gave me a hair cut because my fringe was getting too long and I wouldn't let mum put any clips in.

I'm not sure Mum's got a future as a hair dresser but it doesn't look as bad as this photo once it's brushed - honest.

Yay for Toy Libraries

Last Thursday Mum and I went to the toy library and I got to bring home a slide!

It is lots and lots of fun. I go round & round it, climbing up the back and sliding down

and then I let my teddies have turns too.

Growing Up

My Mum put my hair up in this funny hairstyle because I won't let her put hair clips in my hair and my fringe is getting very long

By the way I am now a walking girl now. I've been taking a few steps for a while now, but last week (Aug 1) I went to coffee group and I was watching all the other kids walking around and I just thought I'd get up and do it too - its much easier to catch them and fight for the toys if I'm on my feet too.

Holiday at the Beach

At the weekend we went away for a night at the beach with Mike, Jenny, Jamie and Kyle.

It was great fun running around on the beach...

and going to the playground...

And Jamie, Kyle and Jenny gave me lots and lots of cuddles

My Farm

My Mum & Dad bought me a cool farm for my birthday. I spend hours and hours chatting away to the animals in it and opening their gates for them.

When Dad comes home from work I let him play too - as well as my teddy and little pussy cat - my farm is great fun for everyone.

Playgrounds

I love playgrounds. There are so many things to climb on and big kids to look at and of course my favourite - slides!

I love going down slides but I haven't quite figured out that you're not supposed to climb back up them. I like to watch what all the big kids do at the park and then when I can get a turn I copy them - its great fun.

Birthday Party

Because my Dad is extra special we had a wee party and another birthday cake for him on Sunday.

I helped Dad blow out the candles once, but then all the other kids wanted a turn too.

Parties are lots of fun!

Daddy's Birthday

My Dad was away for his birthday but when he came home we gave him presents, which I showed him how to unwrap...

And had a birthday cake for him.

My new horsey

While my Dad was away last week I went to spend a night with Mum at Granny & Grandads.

It was a very good trip because I came home with a horsey. I like to ride him, but I also like to give my dollies and teddies a turn while I make the trot trot noise for them.

Mum also bought me my own little chair which I also love sitting on and pushing around the lounge.

It's been a bit chilly lately...

My Nana sends me parcels with lots of lovely knitted goodies in. Whenever I go out and about everyone asks me who does my knitting for me, and all the other babies in our coffee group are very jealous.

Birthday Party No. 2!

On Saturday I had another birthday party with my friends and family.

It was a teddy bears picnic - I thought it was really cool when Mum bought all our soft toys out ready for the picnic.We had a teddy bear cake, teddy bear biscuits and teddy bear lollies but my favourite party food was mandarins.

Mum and Dad were a bit busy at my party so they didn't take too many photos - but we'll get some more off Granny soon.

My Birthday

Yay I am now 1 year old.

I had a big pile of presents all wrapped in teddy paper from Mum and Dad and my Aunty and Uncles to unwrap. I did find the unwrapping process a bit frustrating - but I wasn't feeling too well either.

I really liked my presents once they were unwrapped - especially my teddy phone. During the day even more presents arrived like this one from Nana & Grandad.

Birthday Party No. 1

Because I am such a special girl, I am having two birthday parties.

My first one was yesterday with Ethan who is a day older than me for all my friends from coffee group.

This is the cool teddy bear cake that Mum made for us.

And this is me and Ethan together.

We had lots of fun playing, Maggie and I even tried to form a band.

Leaves!

For some people Sunday is a day of rest but for me it is a day of adventures. Today I have learnt to clap my hands, climb up into my highchair by myself, climb all the way up the stairs to mum & dad's room by myself and done a backward roll out of the wheelbarrow - although that last one was a bit of an opps!

I also had great fun helping Mum with the leaves

I helped hold the wheelbarrow while mum loaded it...

and then sat on the leaves so they didn't blow away...

Leaves are great fun!

Girly Stuff

My Aunty Louby knows lots about girly stuff, she showed me how to make my hair look really pretty - don't you think!

My friend Sam

I have been having lots of fun with my friend Sam - we are nearly the same size but ...

I'm a bit more mobile so I can do fun things with him like give him kisses...

and have cuddles with my Mum...

and even share my Dad for double cuddles

It's my birthday soon....

Very soon I'm going to be a big one year old.

I got my first birthday present today, it was lots of fun unwrapping it and best of all it was a jigsaw with my name on it - yay!

By the way Nana - my latest cardi is a perfect fit - thanks!

Visitors

My Aunty Louby, Uncle Stu and my friend Sam are staying with us at the moment because Uncle Stu is working at Field Days.

Sam is a really big bubba - he's nearly as tall as me and he's only 14 weeks old but he's really cute.

He likes playing games with my Dad too

Although Dad still had time to play games with just me and my new toy (box) too.

My Flash New Jacket

My Granny knitted me this flash new jacket and my Mum made me some slippers to match it.

Everyone says I look pretty cute in it but my favourite thing to do is to look for the teddy bears on the buttons.
