Holiday at Nannie & Grandad's

We went on holiday to Nannie and Grandad's.

We went to animal park and patted all the animals.

Then one day we went to the park on a lion hunt and we found one!

I was a bit scared when it started roaring - but it was just Grandad being silly!

Cooper's birthday

My cousin Cooper had his 3rd birthday party at Lollipops - it was so cool!

I dressed up in my fairy dress to go to the party and had great fun playing with all the toys.

Then my big cousin Jack was dressing up so I did too - this is me being a sheep.

The danger of books!

I've been reading a book about a little girl who doesn't go to bed at night as she's too busy playing.

I told Mum and Dad last night that I wasn't going to bed, even when they said they were.

So Mum and Dad went off to bed leaving me with my lion song confident that I couldn't make the tv play it again and would be bored in 5 mins....

But no. I figured out how to make it play 6 x, then I got up and turned the tv off. I crept down the hall to check on Mum and Dad using my quiet voice so as not to wake them. Then I came back to the lounge to play.

I only called for Mum 3/4 hour later when I got stuck doing one of my puzzles - I guess she does come in handy sometimes!

Day at granny and grandad's

Yesterday I went to Granny and Grandad's with Mum and Cooper was there too.

I had to get all dressed up for my outing and wear my new shoes. You know you've got great new shoes when you want to put them on as soon as you get out of bed.

Cooper and I kept Granny and Grandad busy and both had a big sleep after stories with Granny.

Megan

My big cousin Megan came to visit with Granny and Grandad.

I thought she was pretty cool cause she played games with me and gave me two bags.

Ever since her visit I keep asking Mum if she'll be with Granny and Grandad next time we see them and I love my new bags so much I've taken a different one to daycare each day so I can show them off.

Me and my mum

We went on a special boat for dinner to celebrate Granny and Grandad's 40th wedding anniversary.

It was lots of fun, I had all my favourite people around to play games with me and I got to eat chips for dinner.

I love the fairies

I love the fairies.

I like to do their dances and dress up like them - this is my dress like Rhapsody, I tell Mum she can be Harmony and Daddy he is Barnaby the busy buzzy bee...

Now I just have to figure out how to get them to dress up too.

My best friends

I love my big cousin Jack and especially like it when he holds my hand when we go walking.

I also think my Aunty Kathryn is pretty funny.

Gymnastics

This term I'm giving gymnastics a go and just going swimming with my Mum.

I've learnt to do rolly polys and walk on the tight rope (beam) but my favourite is swinging like a Monkey.

In fact I told Mum on the way home from daycare this week that I didn't want to live at home anymore I was going to live in the zoo and be a monkey (Mum had to come too though!)

Jack's 5th Birthday

My cousin Jack had his 5th birthday party.

It was a treasure island one.

I got so excited before hand, I had my costume sorted weeks in advance....

but on the day I couldn't wait to get there and I forgot it, but it didn't matter as we all had heaps of fun in the pool!

Outing with my cousins

Mum and I met Granny and my cousins Jack and Cooper at the park for a play.

Then we went on a big walk through the bush to find morning tea. I loved it, especially when my big cousin Jack held my hand while we were walking.

Guess what!

I'm getting a baby at my house.

I asked Mummy and Daddy for one for Christmas but they couldn't quite get organised for that so I"m getting one for my birthday instead.

Mummy and Daddy told me on Christmas day. I wasn't too excited then as I had a house to play with but now I'm very excited. I tell Mummy that I'll let the baby have a turn with my special teddy when it comes out.

Auckland Zoo

Mum, Dad, Granny, Grandad and I went on a big adventure to Auckland zoo.

We had to stop off and show Granny and Grandad Uncle Ali's new house and then we went to see the animals.

My favourites were the monkeys - I even tried to be one on the climbing frame!

Mum and Dad who?

We met Uncle Geoff and Alex at Raglan for a play and fish and chips.

On the way across to the beach I held Mum's hand tight but on the way back I had some new friends instead.

My new sandpit

Mum and Dad finally got organised over the holidays and finished my sandpit. I think it's great!

Uncle Geoff

Uncle Geoff has come to visit with his friend Alex.

We had a big party at Granny and Grandad's place with Mike, Jenny, Jamie, Kyle, Uncle Tony, Aunty Leah, Jack and Cooper - it was lots of fun but the weather wasn't so good so...

Uncle Geoff came to my place the next day so that I could squirt him with Granny's squirty gun.

Grandad was being a monster outside my house, so then he had to get inside to make sure the monsters had gone - everyone loves my house!

Outing to Auckland

Mum, Dad and I went on an adventure to Auckland. We were going to go to the zoo but it was raining so instead we went to visit Uncle Ali and Sally and then to Kelly Tarltons.

Mum and I like the penguins and Dad liked the fish.

New Years Eve

Always an exciting time in our house - not!

We had friends around for morning tea so Mum and I did some baking.

Then we went to the lake to have fish and chips at dinner time.

I love fish and chips and I didn't stop eating until every last chip was gone.

Then I had a wee play to work off my food!

Christmas Day

I was a very good girl and slept in until 6.30 on Christmas morning. Then I had a play in my bed with my dolls and picked out some clothes to wear from my drawers before I called out to Mum that I was ready to get up.

I was then very patient and got dressed while I waited for my Dad to come downstairs - he doesn't like getting up in the mornings!

Then I got to open my presents from Santa - Wow! He brought me my cash register plus lots of other small things to play with.

I went outside to check if the reindeer had eaten the carrots and then I spotted somthing....

A playhouse at my house!

I love my house and had everyone playing in it, although Grandad said he had learnt his lesson from the night before and that it was too small for him to get into.

I tried to use my swimming ring too but there was no water and Mum wouldn't let me go to Aunty Leah's house.

Then Nannie and Grandad turned up and there were more presents!

After my sleep we went to Granny and Grandad's house for Christmas dinner. Granny and Grandad had bought water pistols for us to surprise Uncle Ali with when he arrived. It took me a while to master but once I had I wanted to squirt everyone for hours just like my big cousin Jack!

Then of course there were more presents!

I had a very big day and got very tired at the end of it - thank you everyone for spoiling me so much.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was very exciting. Granny and Grandad brought their caravan to our house to sleep in. Then we went to church and I had Granny, Grandad and Mum all dancing in a circle to the Christmas Carols (yes in a packed church).

After church we came home and got ready for Santa. I put out a snack for him and the reindeer and hung up my stocking...

Once I was asleep, the elves got to work...
