School holidays

Life is crazy busy at the moment, with putting our house on the market and having school holidays.

We've had a few pyjama days...

We also went on an outing with Aunty Kathryn to a petting zoo.

Mackenzie has been obsessed with horses since reading the saddle club books, so enjoyed meeting the miniature ponies. Alex was pretty keen too, and thought we could fit one in the boot.

Theo - 8 weeks

Very exciting this week, Theo slept 6 hours one night, unfortunately it didn't turn into a trend - as you can see he is fading away so needs to ensure that he keeps up his food intake 24 hours a day!

But maybe he's just trying to catch up with his big brother and sister.

Theo - 7 weeks old

Having tummy time

And with his friend green bunny on his playmat.

Celebrating persistence

After a term of hard work by the big kids we went out to dinner at a restaurant to celebrate persistence and working hard. Mackenzie for swimming and ballet and Alex for swimming and kindy challenges.

We also took the grandparents to say thanks for all their help and in the hope of buying a house and needing even more help from them!

Scootering with Grandad

Now Nannie and Grandad live closer we get to see so much more of them.

Grandad even gave scootering a go with Alex, although his cheating ways had him labelled Oracle by Alex.

Our ballet stars

Mackenzie did really well in her ballet exam and achieved merit, just like her good friend Sophie.

Goodbye Therese

We had to say goodbye to our lovely midwife who got us through so many ups and downs while Theo lived in mummy's tummy. She said Theo was her star baby putting on 400 - 500g a week but to us he's just our chubba bubba.

.

Thanks Therese - you were fab!

Theo at 5 weeks

Theo continues to grow fast.

He loves his teddy...

big brother...

big sister...

He's also a smiley wee boy, although Daddy had to fight hard to get the smiles, he seems to have a preference for the ladies!

Alex our champion

Alex made us proud by winning the kindy cup for being a good friend - he even has the champion pose down.

Meeting the extended family (Theo 4 weeks)

Aunty Jo, Uncle Murray and Megan came to visit Theo when they brought Megan back to University. We had to keep it a secret from the big kids or I'm sure they wouldn't have gone to school and kindy for the day.

Working bee (Theo 4 weeks)

Now Nannie and Grandad live so much closer they can come and visit more often - great for gardening....

and cuddles

Theo four weeks old

Our poor wee man is following in his brother and sister's footsteps with wind, reflux and a very sore tummy - like them he quite likes sleeping on his tummy, as Aunty Kathryn proved by having him fall asleep on his playmat.

Theo three weeks old

Theo loves snuggles with his dad and

finds his big brother and sister fascinating.

Of course, he's also popular with lots of friends who like having a new born baby to cuddle.

Cross country

Cross country time again - not Mackenzie's strongest activity but we were very proud that she kept going all the way to the end. Even her teacher recognised that she had tried really hard and gave her an award for her efforts.

Alex

Alex has become quite the helmet boy. Once his helmet is on it can stay on all day.

He's also growing in confidence with his swimming.

Our blue eyed boy - 2 weeks old

Theo got a lovely blue cardigan and extra big hat from Granny and Grandad - it really brings out his beautiful blue eyes.

He's growing fast and amazing the midwife with his 500g a week weight gain.

Ballet exam - primary

Mackenzie's first week back home was ballet exam time. She worked super hard practising and practising and Theo very conveniently came early so mum was out of hospital for it.

After working so hard, the girls got to go out for a special morning tea - don't know that it was the diet of champions or ballerinas but it was delicious!

Then home for some relaxing daddy cuddles.

Big kid adventures

Alex and Mackenzie were lucky enough to enjoy at holiday at Granny and Grandad's during Theo's arrival and stay in hospital.

They got to go on lots of adventures....

Although one of Mackenzie's friends snuck in for a visit to her new little brother while she was away!
