Growing my hair...

My hair has been very slow to grow, but finally today Mum managed to make two little piggy tails - don't I look cute and very grown up because I'm a girl now not a bubba.

This is me in front of my dolls house that Mum and Dad gave me for my birthday. I have some tolo people to go in it that I decided to name last night. The girl I called Louby, the boy is called Sam and the baby is called Kate - I wonder where I got those names from!
PS: Nannie if you're reading this - this is the cardi that Granny would like the pattern for.

Mini Holiday

Mum, Dad and I went on a little break to Taupo.

It was lots of fun, I got a tour of the McDonalds playgrounds in Tokoroa and Taupo as it was too wet for any others....

we all went swimming and I was a very good girl at going to sleep. Mum and I dressed up in our 'cool dude' hats so we looked really styley.

I told Mum and Dad don't want home, go holiday for the whole last half hour of the trip home! Mum and Dad have promised we can go on another holiday soon.

Birthday Queen

Today I took a birthday cake to daycare to celebrate with my friends there.

They made me a special birthday crown to wear for the day.
I don't think I ever want my birthday to end...

My birthday party

Yay today I had my second birthday party.

I've been building up to it all week talking about my birthday and practising opening presents and it was everything I expected and more!

All my faourite people were there including Nana and Grandad all the way from Hawkes Bay.

I got very spoilt with lots of lovley presents and I got to play my favourite hiding game with my friends. Then me and my cousins pretended to be tigers to scare my Grandad.

Friends from the deep south

Yay - I love Field Days as my friends Kate, Sam, Louby and Stu come to stay.

We had lots of fun playing in the leaves and in the bath I wish they loved much closer to us...
The house next door is still for sale Uncle Stu!

Our new deck

My Grandad Johnston came to stay to build us a deck.

It was great fun as I got to see lots of him and Grandad Mac who was a labourer with my Dad.

They used lots of flash equipment - my favourite was the ear muffs!

Our new deck looks fabulous - thanks Grandad J and Grandad Mac and Daddy!
