I love reading books!

This is the chair that Mum sits in to read me books, so I thought I should have a turn reading some stories to my friends teddy and peter rabbit.

My favourite way to read is to pull all my books off my bookshelf and then look through them.

Mum says its very messy but I like to be able to read lots at once.

Holiday in Hawera

Mum, Granny and I went on a little holiday to Hawera to see Aunty Louby, Sam and Katie.

It was lots of fun and I was a really good traveller - I didn't complain once about all the time in the car - although Granny made sure we had lots of stops along the way.

When we got there Katie, Sam and I played lots of fun games.

Plus we stayed at a really cool motel which had animals. I love animals and when I wasn't out visiting the sheep, pigs, goat and dogs, I had my nose pressed against the window to look at them. I think chasing the chickens was the most fun though.

We went to the Zoo

I love animals, so my lovely Mummy & Daddy took me to the zoo yesterday.

It was so much fun. I made sure Daddy got a workout pushing my buggy up and down all the big hills and when he wanted a break from that I let him carry me on his shoulders.

We saw lots of cool animals including a baby rhino.

I even got down and did some walking, and for the first time held Mummy's hand while I did it.

Mum says I'm growing up really fast.

Baking Day

Today Mum let me help make a cake.

It was lots of fun....

although somewhat messy.

I liked to add all my own special ingredients, like tops and jars. I thought they would make nice surprises when you were eating the cake.

Once the cake was in the oven we then had to clean-up - both the bench & me!

Old Mac's Farm

Although I'm a big girl, Mum says she doesn't really think I'm old, but when we found this truck in a toy shop, we had to have a photo.

Lunch @ the Lake

On Friday it was such a beautiful day, we went and met my Daddy at the lake for lunch.

It was lots of fun, but I think everyone else must have had the same idea because the ducks weren't hungry at all.

Mac in a Box

Mum got me a new toy from the toy library - but personally I like the box it comes in...

Father's Day

Today was Father's Day.

As a special present I let Dad spend lots of time pushing me around on my bike.

I'm a bubba

My friend Caitlin who is 6 months old came to visit and she had a play in my exersaucer.

So I decided I would like to be a bubba again like her...
